CUCKOO FOR COCO
Former Playboy Cyber Girl-turned-fashion designer Coco Johnsen jetted into The Rock’s capital city, last week, for the annual StyleWeek Jamaica fashion extravaganza, organised by model agency Saint International. Introducing the island’s fashionistas to her embellishment-heavy aesthetic, Johnsen presented two very different collections, both dubbed ‘The Warrior’. The all-white womenswear capsule à la Romanticism, was unveiled at the International Mecca of Style, Saturday night, at Digicel HQ, downtown. Then, on Sunday, the Los Angeles resident seized the opportunity to switch things up with a farewell co-ed collection that blended rock ‘n’ roll with Rococo flair. Johnsen’s maximalist sense of glamour proved a fitting finale against the urban sprawl of Knutsford Boulevard, New Kingston.
