Keep the fire going
Many people think that once the spark has dimmed the relationship is doomed, but sometimes it simply needs some more fuel to fire up what was initially booming. 1. Be sexually spontaneous2. Have date nights3. Extend acts of kindness
So how do you keep the heat going after things have cooled down?
When things are done in a mechanical way in an intimate relationship, you can get distracted. When people settle into a routine and forget to be spontaneous, this is a recipe for disaster. So drop that “don’t-care” attitude, as well as the “I already got him so I don’t need to do all that” mindset. You actually need to do all that and much more, or someone else will.
Invest in the time to date each other. It brings you closer when you can go out and have a great time. It doesn’t have to be the same old dinner and a movie routine, it could be going dancing or going to a private beach to spend quality time. But ensure you date each other as it keeps the lights on and the relationship afloat.
A man will ensure that the woman he is pursuing is showered with roses and necklaces and chocolates, and when he has her, he stops. This is unacceptable as it is indeed your job to ensure that whatever standard you started with, you maintain.
