AW Fashion: Washington’s Summer Breeze
“My vision was to create pieces that makes a woman feel sexy,” a reflective Courtney Washington told All Woman, after his 10-piece Summer 2017 collection closed designer presentations at the ‘Fashion Meets Music’ showcase at Villa Ronai in Stony Hill, St Andrew last weekend. Utilising silk organza, jerseys, sequinned and cotton fabrics, Washington’s aesthetic held true to his trademark clean lines and finish. Set to open an eponymous atelier in Barbican by mid-year to complement his existing boutique on South Avenue in Kingston, ladies with a penchant for fab wardrobe pieces now have double the reason to rejoice.
