Depressed over fat stomach, cellulite
Dear Donovan,
I would like to find out how can I lose weight off my stomach and thighs. I have been exercising at home and I have lost 50 pounds so far but my stomach has fat that hangs and it just won’t go. My thighs have cellulite and I am depressed because I exercise for at least four to five days a week and eat mostly protein and grains. I don’t drink sugar. Please, I need your help.
Congratulations on your 50-pound weight loss. However, I gather that you are still distressed about getting some more weight off your stomach and thighs.
With regard to your stomach region, observe the firmness or softness of the skin when you touch it. If your stomach is still feeling a little bit firm, then this could possibly mean that you still have some fat and potentially waste material stored inside. My suggestion is that you do a five to nine night detox programme. Also, try to eliminate grains from your diet for that period to help along the process.
In addition, you could substitute your grains with vegetable juices during your detox programme. Drinking therapeutic green juice and other vegetable juices is an excellent way of cleansing the bowels. After you finish detoxing, I would suggest that you consume fewer grains and include more fruits and vegetables in your diet. This will help to keep the stomach down as well as reduce the thigh region.
Once you have done the detox programme, your stomach should be softer. At this stage you will need to firm up the core muscles. The abdominal region is possibly one of the hardest areas to tone, so it will take some effort.
You can do exercises, preferably with a qualified gym instructor, for best results. Outside of toning the stomach muscles by exercising, cosmetic surgery is also an option once the stomach is in a skinny state. However, the route of exercising will produce slower results but it’s more cost-effective.
In terms of your cellulite situation, that is a little more complicated to deal with. I would suggest that you speak with a specialist in that field. However, I am quite aware that there are many products and services offered to treat cellulite. From observation, most don’t work. However, I hope you find some solutions.
Good luck.
