Made To Measure
Carlton Brown was the name on the lips of all at the recently concluded MoDA fashion show. The designer, favoured by local and international gentlemen desirous of standing out even in space already occupied by the sartorially elegant, sent a cabal of gents down the runway – many his customers – a smart move since the suits sat on them.
Never one to shy away from bold colours, texture, cut and form, Brown’s models, who were sent out in blocks of two ostensibly to keep eyes focused on the runway, displayed the designer’s range.
Indeed, even the adorable Master Tulloch in waistcoat and cummerbund, and the cutest of mohawks, could not entirely steal the show.
