Jones’ bias
Carlton Jones’ recent showing at MoDA, although lots more subdued than when we first fell head over heels with his bold prints, futuristic visors and Middle Eastern inspirations in 2014, did not detract from his ability to enthuse in easy, comfy looks that are as glamorous as they are effortless.
I mean, who doesn’t want to step out looking runway-chic? Jones teased with fluid lines, two-tone asymmetrical dresses, caftans thrown over maillots and sassy tunics.
“I want women to look and feel comfortable,” shared Jones.
“Women, although shying away from froufrou, still want to look sophisticated.” Spot on, Jones, spot on.
