Would you still be attracted to your partner if they gained 50 pounds?
Jamaican men like fluffy; in fact Jamaica may well be one of the few places in the world where women obsess over having junk in the trunk to attract their men.
But how much is too much? Is 10, 20, 30 pounds over a healthy BMI acceptable? Would you still be attracted to your partner if they gained 50 pounds?
Roger, 30:
Yeah. I mean 50 pounds nuh nuff. One hundred and fifty, then yes!
Robert, 35:
It depends on what she weighed before. I mean if she was an average weight before then I guess I would still date her. But if she was overweight before, then gained 50 more, then hell no! How mi a go manage to lift her up?
Philippa, 37:
I personally like them slim. If it is my boyfriend then I would leave him but if it is my husband then I have no choice, I would have to stay.
Rachael, 40:
I wouldn’t leave him. When I like a person I like that person for who they are, their personality, not their body size.
Marc, 42:
It depends on where she gains the weight. If she gains the weight in the all the right places then I don’t have a reason to break up with her. More weight more happiness for me — in the right places that is.
Mike, 39:
If the weight fits her body type then sure, I don’t mind, but if the weight looks bad, then no.
Emerson, 37:
Fifty pounds nuff still. Fifty pounds can’t all go in the right places. I know it sounds bad but I would more than likely break up with her. Plus mi want to know how mi can have her a put on so much weight right in front a mi eyes. Mi probably leave at 20 pounds.
Kim, 30:
Well a man can gain 50 pounds and it’s not all fat. I mean if he has been working out and gains 50 pounds in muscle then I wouldn’t have a reason to break up with him but if it is fat, hell yeah.
John, 40:
Fifty pounds is a process. You don’t just wake up and gain so much weight overnight. Weh mi a do with 50 pounds? As far as mi concerned, mi gone!
