Interesting reasons for his tattoo
A tattoo is a permanent mark and as such can be a potent reminder of something an individual holds dear.
For some men it holds memory of a lost love, family, whimsy or spirituality. The tattoo could also be the name of his ex-girlfriend or something he decided to get while stone-drunk one night.
Why did he get his tattoo?
Christian, 29:
In remembrance of a friend I lost years ago. It still hurts me to this day; he was like a brother to me.
Andrew, 31:
I dated this girl once and I honestly believed she was the one. Turns out she wasn’t. But I still have her name tattooed on my arm. Don’t ask me how I got my current girlfriend to overlook that one.
Paul, 33:
Words cannot express how much I love my mother. She is my rock. I have high ratings for her. She is forever in my heart. And that’s why I had her name tattooed right there, over my heart. Love you mummy!
Dilan, 28:
I was so excited when I got my first child, plus it was a boy. I had DJ tattooed on my arm right away, Dilan Jr.
Henry, 29:
When I was younger I didn’t make smart choices. One of my dumb moves was to join a gang. I did my time, however, I still have the scars and tattoos to prove it. My tattoo meant something to me back in the day or at least I thought it did. Now it just means a line of bad decisions which eventually led me to where I am now.
Nathan, 36:
I read this quote once and related to it. Without hesitation I had it tattooed on my back. Haven’t regretted the decision since; it’s my personal mantra.
Robert, 39:
I grew up with my father having tattoos and decided to get one. When I got the first one it was a really small one. I just wanted to try it out for trying out sake. Now there is not an inch of skin on my body that doesn’t have a tattoo.
Matthew, 28:
All the cool guys with all the girls I knew had tattoos. And so as soon as I was old enough I decided to get one.
Brian, 35:
I grew up in the US but my father was Jamaican. He loved Jamaica so much. We would always come here for holidays and I could really see why he would love Jamaica so much. When he died the best way I thought I could keep his memory of Jamaica alive was to have a tattoo of Jamaica and that’s what I went out and did.
Zachary, 23:
We were at a party one night drunk and someone made the stupid suggestion that we go get piercings and tattoos. My mother freaked when she say my tattoo and piercings the next day. I have never heard the end of that story. To this day I don’t even know what the tattoo even means.
