How his annoying traits can benefit you
YOU love him to death, but there is just that little thing (on second thought, make that a big thing) that he does that drives you crazy. You know, like when he throws his clothes all over the room and expect you to pick up after him. Well, if you think about it for a while, his negative habits might not be so bad after all. Check out his most annoying traits here and see how they benefit you.
1 Trait: He doesn’t have a sense of style. He figures dressing up means throwing on a stained Polo shirt with a crushed pair of Corduroys and that awful pair of men’s shoes he wears to every occasion.
His concept of a suit is wearing matching pajama shirt and bottom.
Benefit: We feel your frustration ladies, but at least you know you’ve got someone who you don’t have to pretend around. He’s the good old “what you see is what you get” type of guy, and he expects you to be the same.
2 Trait: He is forgetful and does not adhere to planned activities. His lifestyle is about fun and flexibility; so you can just do away with your schedules for all he cares. He is the type that forgets birthdays, anniversaries and even to pick up the kids from school. So while most women are anticipating what they are going to get on Valentine’s Day, you are left wondering if he knows such a day even exists.
Benefit: He might probably be suffering from a serious case of amnesia, but it might not be bad to have someone like this around. With the stresses that life has to offer, his habit might remind you that sometimes it is good to just chill. Just stop trying to capture life on a calendar and just live it.
3 Trait: He keeps his feelings bottled up. He is always logical and calm, even when your world seems to be falling apart. And so this leaves you wondering why you have to always feel the need to express your worries and fears to him but he doesn’t seem to trust you enough to do likewise.
Benefit: When times get difficult, you can expect him to be your rock. Not the type of person who is melodramatic and causes you to worry even further. And when you are expressing your problems he listens – not a lot of men do this, so consider yourself lucky.
4 Trait: He only has eyes for sports. Talk about addiction. At times you are convinced you do not exist to him as his eyes are constantly glued to ESPN. When he is not hogging the remote, he is out playing football with the guys or at the gym.
Benefit: Sports have been found to be a great outlet for relieving stress in men, so do not be too quick to put it on your “worst things God ever invented” list just yet. It’s better he takes out all his frustrations on a punching bag, rather than on you.
5 Trait: He is very shy and anti-social. Your family members are convinced he has no personality or worse yet, that he is incapable of speech. At every family outing he is the one standing in the corner watching everyone from the sidelines while conversation is buzzing around him.
Benefit: He might be a good listener and the fact that he does not try to be the centre of attention could mean that you get the opportunity to shine more. He is not cocky and won’t make it seem as though you don’t exist when you decide to go to a social engagement.
6 Trait: He is a workaholic. No matter what is happening in his life, his job is number one. He is the type of person who gets what he wants and strives for financial independence.
Benefit: You will probably be able to have the life of luxury since he has the cash to ensure that you are pampered. You’ll also have more time to yourself and to hang out more with your friends.
7 Trait: He is always short on the cash. His current job or lack of one, does not allow him to roll in the dough as you would like. So you either have to always be footing the bill or doing without the things you would like.
Benefit: There is a better chance of you becoming top priority in his life. Now he has more time to spend with you. You would be amazed to know how many women wish they were in your shoes!
