The enterprising Lee-Chin
Yet another week as sizzling as the weather. Michael Lee-Chin, yes that gorgeous hunk on the cover of this month’s Black Enterprise, and who eats up six full pages of the issue is listed as the third reported black billionaire in North America (next to Bob Johnson and Oprah) presented NCB’s new managing director, Aubyn Hill to the public. What a wonderful smile he has! The word on the busy verandah circuit is that he’s going to bring back home both the Canadian bacon as well as the codfish.
Tomorrow the bank hosts its ladies only investment seminar. The quote from Black Enterprise is that “this billionaire, can make you rich”. And since now, more than ever poverty sucks. The invitation only event is already a standing room only one.

Our other friend however, who proposed to herself had many heads turning at that large up town drug store last week. Surely the Slam condoms were not for him. We’re definitely keeping the beacon on this one.

Lots of china, tea and civilized chatter from an intimate set of quality Caribbean people.

Digicel’s Seamus Lynch is back on the rock after his vacation. The royal flames are still burning.
Why are people so pessimistic about the MP’s reunion. His wife has returned and seems to be in full control. Seems she too believes that the 4th time could be better.
No such luck for the fallen one who becomes single once again on Wednesday.
Deweight Peters is indeed the new man behind the next generation of models. The CVM Saint International Face of the Summer launch last week Thursday brought to Jamaica Rodney Harris of Elite International with 33 locations worldwide. International stylist Tyrone Mayes and Khalid Salaam scouting for Karin and Nathalie’s of Paris, and Why not? – Milan.

Usher will be at Sans Souci Ocho Rios for a week with friends and family. A total entourage of 22. The interior created by Aline Lee and Beverly Chung was tropical with art work, ceramics and candles flickering beside white overstuffed sofas which sat atop burlap area rugs. Coffee tables were the resting place for large urns of fresh white orchids.
Hot designer of male threads, Linda Bekye promises a fashion show of exciting, sexy, colourful denim line for men. There were lots and lots of bystanders…
A bientot!
P.S. Must mention the great customer service received last week Wednesday, from Andrea Reid at the BNS Call Centre. The system was down when I called for my credit card balance. Miss Reid apologized, asked for a contact number and within 15 minutes, called back with the amount. Just like that. Now if only our election campaign could be this civilized.
PPS Seems our Clairol men are having all the fun… more next week.
