Brothers held for ammo, ganja in St Mary
ST MARY, Jamaica – Two St Mary brothers have been arrested and charged for the possession of ammunition and ganja and are booked to face the courts next Thursday.
Charged are 27-year-old Leyon “Bashy” Fisher, a landscaper of a Heywood Hall address, and his older brother 34-year-old Roshaine “Fisher” Fisher, a security guard of Scott’s Hall St Mary.
Police reports are that early Thursday morning the St Mary police were conducting a raid in Scott’s Hall in the Castleton division, when they searched a three-bedroom concrete house occupied by the brothers. A search of the premises led to the discovery of 11 9mm ammunition hidden under a bed and a quantity of ganja. It was further discovered that the younger Fisher was in breach of his bail conditions as he was not to be in the Scott’s Hall community as he was previously charged for possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both men could not give account to the ammunition found and they were arrested for possession of ammunition and ganja.
They are scheduled to appear before the St Mary Parish Court on April 17.
