Ammens booth provides unique science experience for patrons at Expo Jamaica
KINGSTON Jamaica — Massy Distribution says the Ammens booth at the recently held Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) Expo was a resounding success, marked as a hub of creativity and excitement for patrons.
Created by Windsor Laboratories, Ammens is well-known among Jamaicans, and the booth featured an interactive station where patrons could create freshly crafted scents with a personal touch, offering them the opportunity to blend ingredients that reflected their personal tastes.
“Creating products that speak to the needs and preferences of our customers is at the core of what we do,” said Assistant Vice President/Head of the Consumer & Marketing Division at Massy Distribution Jamaica Limited, Nicolette Casey. “The custom scent station at the Expo provided a unique opportunity for us to interact with our audience in a meaningful way, allowing them to engage directly with the brand and experience the science behind Ammens.
Massy says the JMEA Expo, held from April 3rd to 6th, also provided an invaluable platform for Ammens to further connect with its community, from the youngest to the oldest attendees.
Visitors, including students, families, and even science enthusiasts, were able to step into the world of powder-making. Decked out in lab coats and goggles, they became honorary “scientists” for the day, exploring the chemistry and mechanics behind Ammens’ signature medicated powder.
“The expo was an opportunity for us to not just showcase our products, but to foster a deeper connection with the next generation,” said Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Massy Distribution Jamaica Limited, Janine Chen. “We want to show them that science is fun, and that curiosity can lead to wonderful discoveries. Our goal is to continue inspiring the youth and encourage them to pursue their passions—whether it’s in science, creativity or even entrepreneurship.”
