Keneisha Mitchell launches ‘Poised to Perfection’
Keneisha Mitchell, CEO of Face Impressions Modeling Agency (FIMA), has launched ‘Poised to Perfection’, touted as Jamaica’s first full-service pageantry company.
The company offers comprehensive training in etiquette, confidence, and leadership to empower females and males of all ages
“This has been a dream of mine,” Mitchell told the Jamaica Observer.
“To operate a full-service pageantry company under one roof and offer personal development is incredibly rewarding. I’m excited to help mould young individuals who aspire to succeed in not only in pageantry but personal development and life,” added Mitchell, who is also an educator, marketer, and director of the Kiwanis Club of Worthington Kingston.
Poised to Perfection focuses on intelligence, advocacy, and community involvement, preparing contestants for regional and international pageants. Services include public speaking, wardrobe styling, image consulting, walk and poise training, and confidence-building workshops.
Mitchell has groomed several successful titleholders, including Keri-Ann Grenwood, first runner-up of Miss Global International 2025 and former Miss Universe East; Tahje Bennett, Miss Jamaica World 2024; Ashanti Ferguson Miss Highgate 2023; and Titania Mycko, Miss Intercontinental Jamaica 2023, among others.
“Our mission is to redefine pageantry. It’s not just about physical beauty, but about building leaders in the community through strategic training to have a social impact,” the founder added.
The office is located on Red Hills Road in St Andrew, and will be open on Wednesdays and Fridays, offering personal development sessions. Starting April 25, individuals can sign up in-office.
The showroom will be open soon, and Poised to Perfection plans to expand into schools locally and internationally.
“We’re not just preparing contestants for a crown; we’re preparing them for success,” Mitchell said.
She added: “We have a hard time placing internationally, because the beauty queens overseas begin training at an earlier age. They’re taught early to compete and excel. Hence, I am creating an avenue in jamaica for early training and development which will improve our chances of placing consistently on the international stage.”
