Curfew extended in the St Andrew South Division
KINGSTON, Jamaica- A curfew that has been imposed within the St Andrew South Division has been extended.
The curfew began at 12:00 am, Sunday, April 6 and will remain in effect until 12:00 am, Tuesday, April 8.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
EAST- An imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue traveling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive
SOUTH- An imaginary line from the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River
WEST- An imaginary line from the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbor
NORTH – An imaginary line from Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue intersection following the divisional boundary.
During the hours of the curfew, individuals within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the groundcommander.
