‘Money Voice’ charged for allegedly chopping off man’s hand in years old incident
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 40-year-old man has been charged after reportedly severing a man’s hand in a 2019 incident.
Ryan Jackson, otherwise called ‘Money Voice’ of Luke Lane, Kingston, has been charged with wounding with intent in relation to an incident which occurred on July 20, 2019, on Beckford Street in the parish.
Reports from the Denham Town police are that about 4:15 pm, a man intervened in an altercation between Jackson and another man in an attempt to quell it.
Jackson left the area and allegedly returned later with two other men, all armed with knives and machetes. Jackson reportedly used the machete to sever the man’s hand while his accomplices inflicted stab wounds all over his body. The injured man was assisted to hospital, where he was treated.
Johnson was taken into custody and charged after he was pointed out by the man as his attacker on Monday, March 31, 2025.
A court date is being arranged for him.
