#Champs2025: Couple travels to Jamaica for Champs experience
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Adeyemi Wheeler and his girlfriend Annastasia Scott brought their one-year-old son Amir Wheeler along with them to the 115th ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.
Annastasia is a Jamaican who attended St Andrew High School for Girls and shared with Observer Online that she ran track for Jamaica at the youth level. The last time she attended Champs was in 2013.

While it was not her boyfriend’s first time in Jamaica, it was his first time attending Champs. He said he had to be there to see what all the hype is about.
“I am looking forward to seeing what all the hype is about. When we first started dating in college I saw her watching Champs in the dorm room. She would scream at the top of her lungs so loud, we got a noise complaint,” Wheeler said.
