#Champs2025: Calabar’s Shamar Shaw wins boys’ Class 3 high jump
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Calabar High’s Shamar Shaw won the gold medal in an exciting boys’ Class Three high jump on Thursday’s third day of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.
All three medallists cleared 1.78m and had to be separated by count-backs, tie breakers, to decide the medals with Kingston College’s Jamari Nugent and Herbert Morrison Technical’s Leondrae Thomas sharing the silver medal.
