‘Bruckhand’ among St James’ most wanted but ‘may not be in the island’ — police
ST JAMES, Jamaica — The St James police have released the identity of six men who they say are wanted for various crimes within the division.
Among the wanted individuals are Tevin Lawson, otherwise called “Bruckhand” of a Mount Salem address in Montego Bay, whom the police say is the most wanted individual in the division.
Lawson is described as having a bleached complexion with a slim build. He is wanted for crimes ranging from wounding with intent to murder.
However, according to divisional commander for St James, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Eron Samuels, Lawson may not be in the island.
“Our latest intelligence had suggested that he was in Haiti facing firearm and drug related charges, however, we still haven’t confirmed all of that and therefore he remains top of the list,” SSP Samuels said.
Also wanted is Omoy Largie otherwise called “Not Nice”.
Largie is wanted for July 2023 murder that took place in Top Hill, Mount Carey in the parish. He was previously charged for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition and is known to frequent the Mountpelier and Mount Carey communities.
Also on the list is Shaquille Brown of a William Street address in Montego Bay. He is wanted for the 2019 murder of Romario Chin from a Paradise Rowe address.
Keston Bertrand otherwise called “Cas”, “Trini” and “Pablo” is also wanted for a murder committed on Queens Drive on March 19, 2023.
He is said to have lived in New York in the United States but fled to Trinidad after getting into trouble there. He later fled to Jamaica after facing challenges there. He is known to frequent the Hampton District in the parish.
Shane Morgan, otherwise called “Okay” of a King Street address is wanted for a murder committed in October 2020 He is known to frequent Canterbury, Upper King Street and Porto Bello.
Finally, the police have identified taxi driver Daniel Turner of an Upper King Street address as another wanted individual. He is wanted on the charge of incest for incidents that took place sometime in 2015 and again in 2025.
The police are asking the men to turn themselves in.
“We are urging these individuals to visit the nearest police station so that the matters that they are wanted for can be addressed,” SSP Samuels urged.
“If they are seen or anyone has information on their whereabouts kindly contact the nearest police station, CIB (Criminal Investigations Branch) headquarters or the Montego Bay Police Station,” he added.
