Bus driver accused of stabbing, beating woman
TWENTY-NINE-YEAR-OLD bus driver Kemar McDonald, otherwise known as ‘Koolie’, of Barracks district, Manchioneal, Portland, has been charged with wounding with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm following an incident in Hector’s River district in the parish on March 12, where he is said to have stabbed and beaten a woman.
Reports from the Manchioneal Police are that about 5:30 pm, the woman was at work when McDonald visited her. The two had an argument, during which McDonald used a broken bottle to stab the woman in her forehead. He then proceeded to hit the woman with a piece of board, the police said. She was taken to hospital, where she was treated.
Following an investigation, McDonald was arrested and charged on Saturday.
He is scheduled to appear in the Manchioneal Parish Court on April 17.
