World Indoors: Nugent and Brown into 60m hurdles final
Jamaica will have two representatives in the final of the women’s 60m hurdles at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China as Ackera Nugent and Amoi Brown both advanced past the semi-finals on Sunday.
Despite hitting a hurdle late in the race, Nugent held her composure to finish second in her semi-final race, in 8.00 seconds behind Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska who won with a season’s best 7.79 seconds.
