Gas prices up $2.34, diesel down $3.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, March 20, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $2.34, 90-octane will be sold for $158.90 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $150.89 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $154.43 per litre after a decrease of $3.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $163.40 per litre down by $3.06.
Kerosene is down by $2.59 and will be sold for $136.70 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $66.88 per litre up by $0.1 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.65 per litre up by $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markup to these prices.
