Church’s Texas Chicken expands to Jamaica
Church’s Texas Chicken, one of the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chains in the world, is set to open an outlet in Mall Plaza on Constant Spring Road in St Andrew in the third quarter of 2025 with plans to establish additional locations in key areas across the country.
It will be Church’s first restaurant in Jamaica in collaboration with the Global Brands Group of Companies, a leading restaurant management company in the Caribbean.
With a portfolio of more than 140 restaurants spanning 12 brands, the group has a strong presence across Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia, St Kitts and Jamaica.
“We are delighted to continue to work with Church’s Texas Chicken and support its growth in the Caribbean,” said Anthony Sabga-Aboud, Director Global Brands Group of Companies. “The Kingston Church’s restaurant is the first step in our expansion in Jamaica and we are committed to growing across the country in the coming years. We look forward to sharing the brand’s legendary and bold Texas flavors while offering a fantastic guest experience, unmatched food quality and building connections with the local communities.”
Church’s Texas Chicken has a long-standing presence in the Caribbean and this new Jamaican
venture is an important part of the brand’s global growth strategy, the company said in a release.
With a legacy of more than 70 years, Church’s Texas Chicken, and its sister brand, Texas Chicken, have more than 1,500 locations in 22 countries.
“We believe that Kingston is a perfect first location in Jamaica and the restaurant will stand out
with its impressive look,” said Gregg Gallagher, Vice President of Americas for Church’s Texas
Chicken. “Communities across the Caribbean have embraced Church’s and together with the Global Brands Group of Companies, we look forward to growing and sharing our unique brand experience with more guests.”
