What is one key change you believe needs to happen — whether in the workplace, community, or society —to create real progress for women, and how can you (or have you) contributed to making it happen?
REAL progress for women means creating spaces where we feel empowered, heard, and supported at every level. Achieving this requires that we foster a culture of inclusion — one that begins in our homes and extends to our workplaces, communities, and society as a whole. Inclusion must be more than a concept; it should be embedded in how we operate, with empathy, honest feedback, and diversity of thought at the core.
Creating this kind of societal change requires a strategic approach. We must challenge biases, break down barriers, and implement policies that ensure equal opportunity. Empathy is also essential. Progress starts with truly understanding the experiences and challenges women face — by listening, offering support, and ensuring our voices shape key decisions.
When women are valued, respected, and included, everyone benefits — businesses, communities, and society as a whole. Diverse perspectives lead to better solutions, greater impact, and more meaningful progress.
For me, this work is deeply personal. My Christian faith shapes my commitment to fairness, integrity, and service to others. I also connect strongly with GraceKennedy’s core values — honesty, integrity, trust, commitment, respect, and humility —which guide how I lead.
Whether it’s advocating for policies that support women, mentoring team members, or fostering an inclusive workplace, my goal is to help create a work environment where everyone feels valued and heard. Small, consistent actions lead to real, lasting change, and I am committed to being part of that progress.
