Yet Praise Worship Experience today in Ochi
The third staging of the gospel music experience dubbed Yet Praise Worship Experience is set to unfold today, Saturday, March 1, at First Assembly on Shaw Park Road in Ocho Rios.
Event organiser/promoter Marlon-Junior Williams said the event has grown since its inception in 2023.
“The Yet Praise Worship Experience began as a vibrant and diverse worship gathering, emphasising praise through singing, dancing, and instrumental solos. Over the years, it has expanded… attracting larger audiences and incorporating more varied forms of worship,” Williams told the Jamaica Observer last week.
The inaugural Yet Praise Worship Experience was held on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Restoration House Holistic Ministries, 6 White River, Ocho Rios. Last year’s staging was held on March 2 at the same location.
This year’s performers will include the award-winning Johnmark Wiggan, Sis Arlene, Gavin McDonald, Sis Carol, Raheim Betty, Pastor Maye, Da Levite, Keke Holyflames, Taquan Bowen, Chaise Campbell, Jaquan Pryce, and others.
Williams, a born-again Christian for the past 20 years, is originally from Ocho Rios.
“Attendees of the Yet Praise Worship Experience can anticipate an evening filled with dynamic praise and worship activities, including singing, dancing, and instrumental performances. The event is designed to uplift and inspire, offering a communal atmosphere where participants can connect spiritually and support one another,” added the organiser.
