Policemen remanded in custody for triple fatal shooting on Windward Road
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The policemen who were arrested and charged in connection with a triple fatal shooting incident on Windward Road in November last year have been further remanded in custody.
Corporal Mark Roye and Constable Kelby White were remanded following their appearance in court on Tuesday, February 26, where their case was mentioned.
All outstanding documents are expected to be disclosed to defence counsels by the prosecution before the next court sitting.
No bail application was made on behalf of the lawnen on this occasion, nor on the last occasion in December 2024.
The cops will return to court in March for plea and case management.
Roye and White were jointly charged in relation to the triple fatal shooting incident investigated by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
The triple police shooting resulted in the deaths of 17-year-old Oshane Stubbs, 19-year-old Orando Campbell, and 20-year-old Kayshawn Smith, who were fatally shot on November 10, 2024, on a section of Windward Road.
