Page 2 returns to Hope Zoo for Jamaican fashion designer Nigel Ramsay’s showcase, Beautiful
, held on Saturday, January 25. The fashion show displayed 50 pieces from his new collection which sought to celebrate timeless elegance. Ramsay said he was adamant about using the showcase to evolve his direction for future creations.
“I’m always open to collaborating with creatives… when it comes on to anyone who may be a jewellery designer or a handbag designer and just go from there. But moving forward, I just want to express myself creatively as an individual designer,” Ramsay said. “This event helped me to understand that as much as I am a creative, I always have to stay true to what I would like to accomplish in life.”
