Gas prices up $1.31, $1.78, diesel up $2.87
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 9, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $162.58 per litre after an increase of $1.31, while 87-octane will be sold for $154.13 per litre up by $1.78
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $162.26 per litre after an increase of $2.87 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $170.25 per litre up by $3.06.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $147 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.14 per litre up by $2.33 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.47 per litre after an increase of $1.23.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
