Curfew imposed in Hayes, Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica – A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Hayes community in Clarendon.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Monday, January 6 and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 8.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North: travelling from point Wembley Centre of Excellence to New Village along an imaginary line;
East: travelling from point New Village to Landlease along an imaginary line;
South: travelling from point Landlease to Raymonds along an imaginary line, and
West: travelling from point Raymonds to Wembley Centre of Excellence along an imaginary line.
During the hours of the curfew, all individials within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
