Clayon Henry releases first solo EP
Gospel artiste Clayon Henry, more popularly known as the lead vocalist for CAG Family (Child A God), has released his first solo EP titled Obedience.
Released on December 27, the project has six tracks and features Perry In Christ on one of the singles.
“This time was chosen to help end the year on a positive level to help motivate into the coming year and just staying obedient to His calling,” Henry told the Jamaica Observer.
Jaw Records serves as executive producer, while assistant producers include Dajourney, DJ Marc, and Deejay Sticko.
The singer, who hails from West Road in Waltham Park, Kingston, has been involved in music since around seven years old.
He is pleased with the reception of his debut solo effort so far.
“The feedback has been magnificent for the project, especially for some persons who found their favourites already with songs like Hello and Obedience,” Henry said.
The singer isn’t new to accolades, as he and the other members of CAG Family were nominated for Group of the Year at the 2024 Sterling Gospel Music Awards.
Henry hopes to continue his career, ultimately ministering to international audiences.
