Wadada, Reggae Youths battle in St James/Sandals Major League

The lead in Zone A of the St James Football Association/Sandals Resorts International Major League will be at stake this afternoon when former champions Wadada United FC and Reggae Youths meet at the UDC Field. Start time is set for 3:00 pm.

Wadada United lead the points table with four points after a draw and a win, while Reggae Youths, who were back-to-back champions between 2022 and 2024, won their opening game.

It will be the first meeting between the teams since the 2017-18 season when they were part of the Western Confederation competition. The winner of this encounter will get an early boost to the hope of getting to the semi-finals.

Reggae Youths were semi-finalists last season before losing to eventual champions Granville United, while Wadada United had finished at the foot of their group after failing to win a game.
