Gas prices up $0.53, $0.57, diesel up $0.19
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 2, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $161.27 per litre after an increase of $0.53, while 87-octane will be sold for $152.35 per litre up by $0.57.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $159.39 per litre after an increase of $0.19 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $167.19 per litre up by $0.26.
Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $143.96 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.81 per litre up by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $82.24 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
