WATA brings joy to shoppers with ‘wishes’ initiative

Eighteen lucky shoppers had their Christmas wishes come through this Yuletide as part of a ‘WATA Wishes’ campaign that saw the brand surprising customers.

Distributed by Wisynco Group Limited, WATA helped to spread joy and good cheer during the week leading up to Christmas by surprising shoppers with their Christmas wish list items across three Progressive Foods supermarkets.

Gifts granted included TVs, grocery vouchers, Courts vouchers, and cash up to $150,000.

“Christmas is a time of sharing and spreading joy. It is the season of giving back and making wishes come true, and at WATA we wanted to do something that would truly surprise our consumers and bring added joy to their holiday,” said Brand Manager Brittany Roberts.

The team made stops in Portmore, St Catherine, Duhaney Park in St Andrew, and Ocho Rios in St Ann, setting up its special telephone booth where shoppers were invited to go inside and place a call to “Santa” to share their Christmas wish.

To the shoppers surprise, after they finished their shopping, they were granted their special wish.

“It was such a delight to see how each person reacted to receiving their gift. The joy, surprise and pure gratitude truly made it special,” Roberts added.
