It was a jolly time for students of Higholborn Street Basic School
In the true spirit of Christmas, law firm Myers, Fletcher & Gordon (MF&G) treated the children of the Higholborn Street Basic School to a memorable Christmas celebration.
The activities began with a Christmas lunch hour concert held at the firm’s East Street office. There was an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and community as the children, their teachers, and the firm’s staff members enjoyed a festive lunch, while Santa delivered gifts to each child.
The firm’s dining room was transformed into a cheerful holiday haven, adorned with festive decorations creating a warm ambiance that brought smiles to all. The children, dressed in their holiday best, were treated to a delicious meal and entertainment by MF&G members of staff.
The celebrations didn’t end there. A few days later, the children were taken to the Suarez Brothers Circus at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in Kingston. The circus provided a captivating experience filled with awe-inspiring performances, laughter, and excitement — a perfect culmination to MF&G’s annual calendar of activities for the children of Higholborn Basic School.
“At Myers, Fletcher & Gordon, we believe in giving back to our community, especially during the Christmas season, which is a time for sharing and togetherness,” said Natasha Rickards Baugh, partner at Myers Flyer & Gordon and head of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.
“Hosting the children of Higholborn Street Basic School has become a cherished tradition, and we are delighted to see the joy it brings to them and their teachers,” added Rickards Baugh.
MF&G has since inception been dedicated to fostering meaningful connections within the community. As one of Jamaica’s leading law firms, MF&G prioritises its corporate social responsibility, and continues to implement initiatives that promote education, well-being, and social harmony.
