Clarendon man turns himself over to police after breaking into home, destroying property
CLARENDON, Jamaica— A mason who turned himself in to the police after he allegedly entered a man’s home in Chateau district, Clarendon and destroyed items valued at $20,000 following an altercation on Sunday, has been charged.
Charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property is 38-year-old Andrew Baker of Chateau district in the parish.
It is reported that Baker and a man were at a party when a dispute developed between them which escalated into a fight.
After the fight, Baker reportedly went to the man’s house, kicked the front door open, and destroyed items valuing $20,000.
A report was made to the police and Baker later turned himself in and was subsequently charged.
His court date is being finalised.
