The Milan Project: A night of art, fashion and culinary delight
On Boxing Day, from 6:00 pm to midnight, Eleven Restaurant and Lounge in Savanna-la-Mar will host the inaugural Milan Project, an exclusive event that combines cosmopolitan elegance with Caribbean flair.
Inspired by Milan’s fashion and design industry, the event will showcase local talent from western Jamaica, featuring a fashion show, art displays, and a world-class culinary experience.
“We wanted to blend the sophistication of Milan with the vibrancy of the Caribbean. This is a chance to celebrate the best of local talent and offer guests a night that is truly unforgettable,” promoter of the event, Glenton Rowe, told the Jamaica Observer.
Rowe explained that a wide variety of unique artwork will be on sale.
“Guests will have the chance to view and purchase unique art from acclaimed local artists, like Dwight Larmond, alongside collections from designers such as Rhea Imani, Urbany Designs, and 876 Beachwear. We’re excited to give local artists and designers a platform to showcase their incredible work. The Milan Project is about highlighting the creativity and versatility that exists in western Jamaica.
Whether you’re a lover of art, fashion, or food, The Milan Project is the ultimate way to celebrate the season. Don’t miss out on this incredible holiday event,” Rowe said.
The promoter also shared that Eleven is the perfect venue for our upcoming event because it captures its theme beautifully.
‘”The stunning atmosphere of Eleven, known for its perfect balance of elegance and relaxation, will set the tone for an unforgettable night. The vibe at Eleven is unmatched — elegant yet laid-back,” says the event coordinator. “It’s the perfect place to enjoy a night of art, fashion, and fine dining,” he continued.
The evening will also highlight the best of Jamaican cuisine, with signature dishes prepared by renowned chefs that promise to delight every palate.
“Our culinary team has crafted a menu that will elevate the dining experience,” says the head chef. “We want guests to savour every bite and enjoy the perfect pairing of food and art,” Rowe told the Observer.
