Delomar RDX brings vibes at The Gyalbum listening party
At a recent staging of Supa Heavy Wednesdays, Delomar (formerly of the globally acclaimed dancehall duo RDX) debuted his much-talked-about solo project Gyaliday: The Gyalbum.
The exclusive listening party, hosted at Janga’s Sound Bar & Grill, was an exciting showcase of Delomar’s love and admiration for the ladies.
The event was buzzing with fans, industry insiders, and dancehall enthusiasts gathered to experience what Delomar has to offer as he embarks on this solo musical journey.
“The Gyaliday LP is a celebration of women, their energy, and their essence. I had to work with some producers who would bring a difference to my sound, which is paying off,” said Delomar.
The LP features collaborations with some of top names in dancehall, including Bounty Killer, Bay-C, Macka Diamond, Harry Toddler, and I-Octane.
The 17-track LP blends up-tempo music, catchy hooks, and genre-defying creativity. Standout songs like Tick Like Clock and You Bam Bam, featuring I-Octane, are dance tracks for the ladies said the artiste, while tracks like That 9 to 5 and Model, featuring Macka Diamond, amplify the celebration of femininity.
Delomar’s charisma and stage presence were on full display as he treated the audience to snippets of The Gyalbum.
Each track sparked lively reactions and dancing.
Speaking about the project, Delomar shared: “Gyaliday is about showing love and appreciation for women while keeping the energy and spirit of dancehall alive. The vibes tonight were everything I hoped for, and I’m grateful.”
