Gas prices up $0.25, diesel up $0.82
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, December 19, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $161.36 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $152.38 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $159.23 per litre after an increase of $0.82 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $167.23 per litre up by $1.10.
Kerosene increased by $1.29 and will be sold for $143.90 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $72.24 per litre up by $0.05 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $81.74 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
