Radam breaks maiden tag in style at Caymanas Park
Radam, a native-bred three-year-old grey colt, finally tasted victory after 12 career starts, dominating a maiden condition race at Caymanas Park on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Trained by Anthony Nunes and ridden by Tevin Foster, Radam (Successful Native – Lynnie) produced his winning performance, racing over 5 furlongs (1,000m) straight to win by an impressive 5 ½ lengths.
The race began with an even break, as Kencia (Javaniel Patterson), Radam, and Lady Sarsutta (Samantha Fletcher) vied for the early lead. As the field approached the final two furlongs (400m) of the race, Radam surged to the front, laying out beautifully until crossing the wire in a time of 1:00.2 (24.2 x 47.1).
Lady Sarsutta finished second, while Military Light (Raddesh Roman) secured third place.
