Jamaica into 3×3 AmeriCup quarter-finals
Both Jamaican teams have qualified for the quarter-finals of their respective competitions at the fourth FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup 2024 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, today.
Both teams have won their two games in the main draw after the men won all three games in the qualifying round on the first two days, Thursday and Friday, and after yesterday’s rest day the men will face the United States in their quarter-final game while the women will take on Puerto Rico in their game as they seek to get to the latter stages on the final day of the event.
Puerto Rico are the defending champions for the men, which saw 19 teams taking part, while the USA won last year’s women’s section that saw 15 teams taking part.
