WATCH: BGLC aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery with GMIS

The Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) recently held a soft launch of its new Gaming Management Information System (GMIS), which allows customers to submit and track applications online, as well as receive their licences digitally.

The system is expected to improve the efficiency of processing applications and reduce the reliance on paper.

Dwayne Walters, Project Manager at the BGLC, says the system represents a “pivotal step” in the modernisation efforts of the Commission.

“Our hope is that this will improve service delivery of the entity and foster transparency in the way that we do business,” Walters told Observer Online in a recent interview.
