Tech Beach Retreat hosts AI film festival in Jamaica
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – Tech Beach Retreat hosted an AI film festival, featuring an AI robot avatar, during the recent staging of the regional technology event in Jamaica.
Presented by Moonmax, the festival celebrated the fusion of artificial intelligence and creativity, showcasing how technology is revolutionising the film industry.
The evening highlighted a series of AI-driven films that illustrated the potential of technology to push the boundaries of storytelling in film.
Co-Founder of Tech Beach Retreat, Kirk-Anthony Hamilton, expressed his excitement about the event.
“The AI Film Festival exemplifies how technology can drive creativity to new heights. We’re thrilled to host this milestone event in Jamaica, showcasing the country’s role as a hub for innovation on the global stage,” Hamilton said.
The event has been held in Dubai, Venice and Cannes and the local showing featured films ranging from adventure to science fiction.
Attendees were treated to an interactive AI robot avatar at the start, live demonstrations of AI filmmaking technologies, and networking opportunities with industry leaders.
