WATCH: ACP Michael Phipps offers festive season safety tips
Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Michael Phipps says the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) will remain relentless in its efforts to combat criminal activities, adding that the police have joined forces with the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) and other stakeholders to address safety concerns during the festive season across the municipality.
In his address, he outlined several safety measures to be observed during this period, including:
– Keeping phones and money out of sight in public.
– Avoiding the display of large sums of money in public.
– Exercising caution when asking for directions.
– Remaining vigilant and aware of your surroundings.
These measures are part of a wider effort to ensure a safe and secure festive season for all residents and visitors.
