Flow services still impacted by major vandalism of fibre cables in HWT
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Flow Jamaica says some data, mobile and voice customers in the Half-Way Tree, New Kingston and surrounding communities are still experiencing degraded services resulting from a severe act of vandalism which occurred in the Half-Way Tree area Friday morning.
Investigations by the company have revealed multiple severances to both its fibre and legacy network cables in the area.

Flow’s technical teams estimate that repairs will be completed by 9:00 pm on Friday, December 6 and services restored to customers on Flow’s fibre network thereafter.
The company further advised that customers served by its legacy network will be migrated to its fibre network before services can be restored.
The telecommunications company is again appealing to members of the public to avoid tampering with its infrastructure.
