Gin N’ Juice ready for Saturday
Gregg Smith, co-promoter of Gin N’ Juice, is promising patrons that this Saturday’s staging of the premium uptown retro party will be an unforgettable experience.
“As the event to officially kick off the festive season, Gin N’ Juice: The White Christmas Edition is committed to elevating your experience and deliver on our promise to have our beloved guests dancing the night away and partying like it’s 1999,” Smith told the
Jamaica Observer.
The event, which will be held on the lawns of Jamaica College will feature DJ Delano from Renaissance along with the party animal Kurt Riley and ZJ Chrome, who will be responsible for taking patrons on a nostalgic musical journey back to the unforgettable hits of the 90s and 2000s.
Smith elaborated on the theme of the event.
“The term ‘white Christmas’ is commonly used in other countries to refer to a winter characterised by significant snowfall. In light of this, my team and I have chosen to embrace the concept by organising an all-white party, aiming to create a festive atmosphere reminiscent of snow in Jamaica this Christmas,” he said.
The last staging of Gin N’ Juice was held at Cherry Gardens Great House in St Andrew, but organiser opted for a venue change.
“The lawns of Jamaica College comes with all the elements of a good venue, and from the feedback we’ve been getting so far the response to the venue change has been more than favourable. Our patrons are party people who understand how important it is to have a central location, with ample and secure parking, no shuttle service to deal with, and that they don’t have to bundle up, as there will be more than enough space in a beautiful outdoor setting for you and your crew to dance the night away”, he said.
