Gaza Nation discounted Bleachers tickets for the highly anticipated Freedom Street concert have officially sold out.

Outlining that the discounted tickets were a fan-favourite, Joe Bogdanovich, CEO of Downsound Entertainment, producers of the event, said the swift sales underscores just how massive the event will be.

“The Gaza Nation is unstoppable,” he said. “They’ve shown up in full force, and the energy is electric. Everyone wants to be part of this history-making night, and we’re ready to deliver something unforgettable.”

In a release, show organisers said buzz surrounding the event has been building for weeks, as dancehall fans seem determined to witness the Worl’ Boss live.

The release also shared that, while the Gaza Nation Discount Bleachers tickets, offered for US$75 over the Black Friday weekend, are sold out, regular-priced Bleachers tickets are still available for purchase at  freedomstreetlive.com.

Continuing to express his excitement about the overhwleming support, Bogdanovich said the demand for tickets has been global.

“I’m getting calls from various artistes and friends,” he said, “including one of the hosts on the show, telling me everybody in Florida is clamouring to get tickets before they sell out. Atlanta, the East Coast, California — they’re all excited. And it doesn’t stop there. People are flying in from Canada, the UK, Amsterdam, Australia, Dubai. This is the first Kartel show in over a decade to take place in Kingston, Jamaica, and folks are making sure they’re part of history,” Bogdanovich said.

Scheduled for December 31 at the National Stadium, Freedom Street promises to be a groundbreaking event for dancehall. Gates open at 4:00 pm, with Kartel set to take the stage at 10:00 pm.
