Firearm seized in Duhaney Park

ST ANDREW, Jamaica – One Taurus 9mm pistol with a magazine containing eleven 9mm cartridges was seized during a raid in Duhaney Park, St Andrew on Monday.

Reports from the Duhaney Park police are that about 2:30 pm, a team of officers on operation stopped and searched a motor car.

During the search, the firearm was found in the vehicle.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) says one person was taken into custody in relation to the seizure.

The investigation continues.
