Rally Banks, Dexta Daps release Wuk Fi Mine visuals
Dancehall and reggae recording artiste Rally Banks is overwhelmed with the positive response from fans and listeners all over the world to his collaboration with dancehall heavyweight Dexta Daps.
Since the release of the visuals for the single Wuk Fi Mine, the motivating content has racked up nearly 100,000 views on YouTube in less than a week.
The video release has ignited new interest in the Hard Workers Anthem on many social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. People from all professions, backgrounds and countries have been able to relate to the lyrics of this potent track and have expressed this in their post, he said.
Both Rally Banks and Dexta Daps stem from the tough but blessed inner-city community of Seaview Gardens in the Corporate Area.
Wuk Fi Mine was released late last year on Dexta Dap’s Trilogy album, listed fourth on the project of 15 songs.
“I see Dexta Daps as a mentor so this opportunity is a gift, but feels more like a fulfilment. The song itself is potent, catchy, and filled with morals; it speaks of integrity, drive, perseverance, going hard, and aiming for your lifelong goals and achievements,” Rally Banks shared.
Going hard and aiming for your goals are exactly what the singer has been doing over the years. He admits to encountering speed bumps since making his debut on a popular Jamaica-based talent show back in 2016, but is still determined to float above all odds.
“With the intervention of the Almighty, this Wuk Fi Mine single will inspire and motivate those that listen to and can relate to it, especially the younger generation. Having faith in any journey is key; the pace might be slow, but stay passionate and keep going,” added Rally Banks.
The assertive performer is currently compiling the material to tantalise his ever-expanding fan base and is looking forward to dropping his first studio album in 2025.
The Wuk Fi Mine single, which was produced by Florida-based record label head Ibez Don, is also currently trending on the Dexta Daps Trilogy album.
