Tivoli Gardens hammer Harbour View 6-0 in JPL
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Kavan Wilson scored a double as Tivoli Gardens hammered Harbour View 6-0 in their Jamaica Premier League game played at the Stadium East on Sunday, snapping a six-game winless run.
It was only Tivoli Gardens’ second win of the season, from 11 games played, and Harbour View’s sixth loss.
Wilson scored in the 36th and 63rd minutes while Conaie Rose, Anthony Nelson, Barrington Pryce and Justin Dunn also scored for Tivoli Gardens.
Mt Pleasant FA ended Montego Bay United’s seven games unbeaten run with an impressive 3-0 win at Drax Hall.
Daniel Green fired Mt Pleasant into the lead in the 16th minute, Kimoni Bailey doubled the advantage with a penalty in the 48th minute and Raheem Edwards added an insurance goal in the 70th minute.
Waterhouse FC took over the lead in the points table after a 0-0 draw with Portmore United, inching up to 21 points, one more than Montego Bay United and Portmore United.
In the other game played on Sunday, Humble Lion drew their sixth game of the season, ending goalless against Dunbeholden.
