Sting lineup reveal set for Tuesday
Isaiah Laing, head of Supreme Promotions, will be revealing the lineup to this year’s Sting concert with a press launch which will be held at the Ministry of Culture, Gender and Sports in New Kingston on Tuesday at 6 pm.
“We will be revealing a piece of the lineup, I have three other big names that we will be revealing at a later date. Plus, we have two big surprises, two mega artistes who can’t be announced until the day of the event, but social media will take care of that,” Laing said.
Laing has promised patrons an electrifying show on Boxing Day at JamWorld, Portmore, St Catherine, powered by the three T’s: Tommy Lee Sparta, Turbulence and Teflon.
The announcement has already set fans buzzing with excitement.
“Patrons are anticipating a masterful performance from Tommy Lee Sparta. This performance promises to be one for the history books, as he lights up the night with hits after hits, Tommy Lee Sparta is one of the most iconic artistes of his generation,” Laing said.
Sting, dubbed ‘The Greatest One Night Reggae and Dancehall Show On Earth,’ has always been celebrated for its electrifying atmosphere and iconic performances. Laing said that despite the challenges, this year will be no different.
“The show must go on. We’re going to have a great time over Jamworld, reggae powerhouses Teflon and Turbulence are going to tear up the stage…the 3 Ts,” Laing said.
Joining them on the star-studded line-up are Duane Stephenson, Macka Diamond, reggae sensation Gyptian, Shane O, Natty Sean, Kuanna, Suspense, Substannzz and fast-rising dancehall artiste Jamal 1Dunceman.
Tahheer ‘Fatman’ Laing, Director of Events at Supreme Promotions, said that “things are shaping up well” for a blockbuster Sting event.
“We have several top tier artistes and more are being added every week, Ruff Kutt will back the artistes, it’s going to be a great show,” he said.
