Careful working for Tubinaar
Roots recording artiste Tubinaar is tapping into his love for reggae music with his single Careful.
While the track was released in September, the official music video made its debut on October 15.
It was produced by Tree Roots Music and encourages listeners to be mindful of all the evil in society and the wider world.
The accompanying music video was shot in different locations on the island and conveys the song’s message through vibrant imagery.
“I had such a good time shooting this music video, it was overall just an incredible vibe,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
Having been on his musical journey from in the 90s, Tubinaar — born Rohan Tapper — has had music ingrained in his life. Although he was inspired to do reggae from then, he didn’t officially showcase his artistry until the release of his latest offering.
“Music is an essential part of my life. My love for music over the years has made it a vital ingredient in my life; it gives me enjoyment and a sense of fulfillment. The thing is I’ve always wanted to put music out, but circumstances in life didn’t allow it. I am just happy now, that I am finally able to do so,” the artiste said.
The track has been performing exceptionally well especially on the local market.
“This song has so much potential, I just know it will make a huge impact on the world,” he added.
Working on new material, the artiste is very excited to get his sound spread throughout the world and engage with new, diverse audiences. With his powerful message, lyricism, and delivery, Tubinaar is well on his way to making a huge impact.
“I would like the world to know that Tubinaar is here to stay and will be spreading the right message and reiterate that it is love over everything. And at the same time, I am encouraging the world to be careful and make good decisions,” the singer said.
